Together middlesbrough and cleveland aims to address a range of social issues. THEIR key areas of work are: children and families, food insecurity, intergenerational work, loneliness and isolation, mental health and wellbeing, and homelessness.
By working together with local people, churches and communities they help individuals to become connected with supportive relationships and resources that will help them flourish.
They encourage people to work together where they want to make a difference in their community
They are a resource offering support and advice to develop new and existing activities or projects
They bring people together for training, and events to share experience and vision.
They work closely with other organisations and represent the work of local churches on several partnership bodies

Together Middlesbrough and Cleveland supports the Places of Welcome network, a growing network of local community groups providing their neighbourhoods with places where all people feel safe to connect, belong and get involved.
