Windrush Day Grant Scheme 2026
The Windrush Day Grant Scheme brings communities together – across different ages and ethnic backgrounds – to commemorate, celebrate and educate their local area about the contribution of the Windrush Generation and their descendants across the country.
Building on the success of previous years, 33 projects across England received a share of £500,000 from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, administered by near Neighbours, for a broad range of projects celebrating the Windrush generation through community-led arts, educational and sporting events across England.
