Stories of Hope & Panels of Experience
“Stories of Hope” and “Panel of Experience” will be delivered online.
We are running these online facilitated sessions as an alternative to our successful “Real People, Honest Talk” programme, since it is not possible to meet in person due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
We have temporarily modified the approach, and instead of inviting residents and citizens to meet in person, share some food, and talk about the issues that matter to them, we focus on community leaders and local people active in their communities, who have the technological infrastructure, know-how and confidence to attend an online exchange.
People brought together within local communities for positive, constructive interaction between community and faith leaders who have different outlooks, cultures, attitudes, faiths or beliefs.
Facilitate open and honest conversation about issues of concern.
Provide a springboard for further conversations, interactions or collaborative action, strengthening local civil society.
An evidence base is gathered, including positive stories resulting from our interventions, that will showcase the social impact of communities and faiths working together.
We will make policy makers in MHCLG aware of issues and opportunities, as well as inspiring best practice.
This will develop reflective practice and ongoing learning for all involved.
